Skala is pleased to announce “I Am Only What You Made Me,” a nine-day screening program featuring works by Ian Cheng, Mark Leckey, Hanna Lidén, Klara Lidén, and Michael E. Smith. The gallery will transform into a cinema–concert hall, evoking two parallel experiences separated by more than a century: one at Manhattan’s Grand Opera House—often cited as an early proto–music-video encounter—and the other in countless teenage rooms, where shared sessions unfolded before a computer screen, hypnotised by the interplay of sound and image.
